June Little Things

Sometimes clean up time gets rough and the fire truck gets thrown in to the box at the same time someone else's head is leaning over to put something in that same box. He got a pretty good gash under his eye brow on that one.
Philip gave the kids bath bombs the last time we visited. The smell is wonderful, the appearance, not so much.

We finally made it to the Dryden Dairy Day parade! We've heard about this big parade every year but had never been able to make it. It really was a great parade. So many cows and dairy princesses and tractors. The kids had a blast!

 Smile Belén!
Don't smile Belén! Works (almost) every time.

Is it really dairy day if you don't eat any ice cream!?

 Anniversary hike.

Any time you get an opportunity blow out a candle, take advantage. That's our family motto...that I just made up.
Pancakes for breakfast to celebrate our family's birthday (our anniversary), and you better believe we sang Happy Birthday to our family and blew out candles.

We look forward to the Snedecor's Lake House branch activity every July, but this year, they invited us and a few families over for a BBQ a month early. So fun going out on their boat!

June was a little early to be getting in this lake water. My buns were the only thing going in the water and they were COLD. Belén was way too cold to go in herself, so she just sat on me and let me freeze my tush instead of her.
The kids know that daddy loves legos, so they each got to pick out a lego set for him for Father's Day. They were SO excited to "help" him put the sets together.
We also put paper down on the table and they decorated it for him. He also got some waterproof bluetooth speakers for the shower :).
Sliced off the very tippy of my thumb while cutting peppers one evening. I waited for two hours before heading to Urgent Care when it still wouldn't stop bleeding. Needless to say, I did not play in my softball game that evening.
Voting in the primary election. I somehow ended up with all the stickers.
She can often be found completely stripped down, or with clothes on the wrong part of her body. Shirts on her legs. Pants on her arms. Or often wearing someone else's clothes all together.

At our friend's gender reveal party. The girls put on snow hats and then swam in the confetti that had just announced they were having a baby girl.
