Cousin Time

We made a quick trip out to Caldwell right before Christmas, and I mean quick, like one night. But so glad we were able to get out there and meet sweet baby Gwyn (Gwen? Sorry Anna, i can't remember how to spell it! I remember talking about a "y" being in there somewhere...)

Give the grandkids about 10 more years and then maybe we'll be able to figure out how to do a nice "grandma picture." Until then...
So nice to meet this sweetheart!
The kids had a blast running around this big beautiful house playing with the cousins--especially after so many days of traveling! They were so tired by about 6 p.m. (8 p.m. EST), and melt down after melt down had begun so we got them in bed right as their other cousins showed up. I'm so bummed that they didn't get to see each other. The next few days Shae kept asking, "Where is Claire?" When we got back to grandma's house he looked at pictures on the walls and said, "There she is!" I love that he knows his cousins, even if we don't get to see them often.
 Lot's of Sorry!
 And some movies.
Sharon prepared fun stockings for each of the kids that they of course loved.

I think this was a picture from the delicious lasagna dinner that Anna made for us, but I must say, Kyler was quite the little chef the next morning. He had a pad and paper and took down each of our "orders" the night before. It was pretty precious.

Thanks Anna and Stephen for letting us crash your house! And Derek and Linzy for stopping by on such short notice! Let us know when you all make it out east for a visit :).
