Emmy started rolling on to her belly this month.
Which meant it was time for a new sleep slack so that her arms could be free. However, she didn't sleep well in it and stopped rolling over and getting angry anyways, so we are currently still using this gray one and she just seems to have told herself to not roll over so that she can be wrapped how she likes (she really looooves sucking on those arm flaps). We'll see how long that lasts.
She laughed for the first time this month. Like, a real laugh, not just her baby squeals. It was the best thing.
She loooooves her fingers. She has also started to explore the art of thumb sucking. We aren't keen on her being a thumb sucker so whenever we see her do it we try and stick the pacifier in. We have had little luck with that, she just can't figure that thing out.
We are enjoying using the bumbo.
It's been a few months now since she's ended up in bed with us. But alas, desperate early mornings after a rough nights sleep call for desperate measures. Good thing she's so gosh dang adorable.
She has learned how to kick her play mat just right to have it flip on her.
First time camping! Which really meant watching us eat hot dogs on the deck, watching us play games in the tent, and then sleeping inside with mom while the rest of them slept in the backyard.
Emmy, sadly, no longer sleeps until 8 or 9 each morning. She now usually wakes up somewhere between 6:30-7:30. But she also has a more consistent, earlier bedtime which was has been nice. She usually goes does between 7-7:30. She takes a morning nap, an afternoon nap, and then a baby evening nap around 5 (usually only about 30 to 45 minutes long, just enough to get to bedtime).
Out of nowhere, she HATES getting her diaper changed in the middle of the night. Like, SCREAMS AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS hates it. I usually just leave it now to change in the morning when I go in for a night feeding because it's just too painful to try and change.
